Recovery plan : Energy-efficiency refurbishment of two ANSES sites

As part of the State "France Relance" plan, two energy-efficiency refurbishment projects have been selected to receive a total of €107,174.40 in EU funding.

These projects are intended to reduce the energy footprint of public buildings and concern two of ANSES's sites: the Laboratory for Rabies and Wildlife in Malzéville and the Ploufragan-Plouzané-Niort Laboratory.

The refurbishments will improve working conditions for laboratory staff while being part of an overall commitment to sustainable development.

For the laboratory in Malzéville, the aim is to implement energy efficiency measures in the administrative building in order to comply with the provisions of the French Tertiary Decree. The following work is being carried out :

  • A complete overhaul of the sealing system, including the installation of thermal insulation;
  • The replacement of the wall-mounted gas boiler with a wall-mounted condensing boiler;
  • Lagging of the heating system, in the crawl space.

On the Ploufragan site, the project consists of the installation of an energy recovery system on the air conditioning systems of the building for specific pathogen-free (SPF) hens in Beaucemaine.

"This funding has provided a real opportunity to achieve our objectives for the energy transition. We were able to quickly initiate the thermal renovation work. It should be completed shortly"
